Alberta, Adventurer

"Alberta , Adventurer" - colored pencil on paper.  This is basically a colorized version of a photo taken in 1937 at what now is Logan International Airport, of my Dad's cousin Albert Rich who at the age of 18 was about to ride her motorcycle to Daytona Beach Bike Week #1.  Her boyfriend and later husband Bud was an airplane inventor and they were both pilots who flew their own plane around the US a couple of times.

Sadly, Titusville FL resident Alberta recently passed away.  In the airplane vernacular, "flew westward".  She did get to see this piece though and enjoyed it.
