Acrylic on hardboard panel, "Amazon Treetop", after a photo I'd taken in the Amazon area of Ecuador, while in a treetop platform erected at a height of 115 feet in an immense Kapok tree.  This close-up view of a treetop about 100 yards away belies the actual location - due to the diverse miniature ecosystem growing in the top of that tree, it looks like a scene near the ground.

I thought this made a nice sort of abstract, well suited to the quick nature of acrylic paint.  I took artistic license and added the parrots, although there was at the time a pair of blue-yellow macaws in the top of a tree about 180 degrees from this view.
