Boys on a Bench

"Boys on a Bench" - oil on canvas. This is based on a 3/4 inch square picture of my sons taken by one of those ID badge machines when my wife was getting a badge for the local university. It was so cute I tried to make it into a painting. I substituted the Western toy items for the MacDonald's fries and bag actually being held. I was never quite happy with this painting and I learned (again) that shadowed skin tones are the absolutely hardest things to get right.
