First Contact , oil on canvas on panel, 16x20.  Our neighbor's long-legged filly with a girl imagined as Cathy when that age, meeting  the filly for the first time, and both somewhat curious yet shy.  This one is not quite working as I hoped, the composition does not draw one in.  Stay tuned for changes. Updated photo replaced right hand on gate with outstretched arm holding carrot.  I think this accomplishes what I hoped.
