Horse - oil on wood panel.  This is a copy pretty much of a painting by an artist named Kiki Martinez, that I did for a relative who I hung out with for a couple days after getting grounded during a flight on 9/11/01.  I offered to do a painting of whatever picture was desired, and this one was selected by my relative.  I received a picture torn out of a magazine.  Initially I was not all that excited by it because it seemed pretty simple and I also had some problems with the anatomical correctness of the original.  And so I studied up on horses a bit and made some adjustments.  In the end it turned out I did like it.  Now I may be making a second copy - my house builder (in progress) spotted it and felt it was the perfect picture for his house, so I'm thinking about what kind of deal I can make with him.
