Ukelele , oil on canvas panel, 11x14.  This one was done with a live model during an outdoor workshop with the famous artist Arthur Egeli.  He is a colorist, famous for the "mud heads" of silhouetted figures in backlit settings.  This is a difficult lighting condition to paint convincingly.  The model Kelly had to suffer through a period of "love bugs" but we got through it and   

The model seated is well drawn and is convincingly portrayed.
