Ave Maria

"Ave Maria" oil on panel, from a photo I took between poses for a workshop on portraiture. I like the lighting.  Maria has the most unbelievably thick long black hair and I like the way it framed the face, and the way the light on her face was largely reflected or indirect sky lighting from out the window.
