" Oil and Wine" - acrylic and oil on poster board. I took an introductory art class in college and this was a product of that. The assignment was to create a scene of opposites using magazine photos, so I combined the success and splendor of the offshore oil rig in glorious sunset, with the wino on the dock in the foreground. It was done in acrylic but I later touched it up some with oil. I suppose the original photographer of the background scene used filters to enhance the brilliant orange coloration.
